Jake's First Cold :(

A week ago Jake came down with his first cold.  It was the saddest thing ever!  It took him awhile to figure out how to breathe with his binkey in his mouth, but until then, life was difficult for the poor little guy.

My parents still braved coming down to visit.  Jake enjoys spending time with his grandparents, and it's nice to live close to at least one set.  I think they helped him forget he wasn't feeling too well.  And it was nice to have them spoil us as well, since of course Andrew and I both ended up sick as well.

It was really pleasant out for the first time in awhile (it's been really hot), so even though Jake wasn't in such a great mood, we took him for a walk in his new stroller anyway one evening last week.  He was mad at first, but after awhile he really enjoyed himself.

We sent back the stroller already.  It was one that was rated pretty highly online and was super cheap ($30ish dollars), so we got it on Amazon, but it was terrible!  It took awhile, but we got it back in the box and mailed it back.  We ended up finding a great one on Craigslist that we picked up yesterday.  I had no idea how ridiculously expensive strollers are.  You can find them for over $1,000.  That's crazy!  We certainly don't have that kind of money!

Jake seems to be pretty much back to normal.  I'm glad we all survived his first cold!
